Abstract
In the plethora of workflow management systems, both open
source and commercial, a detailed analysis of a set of this is
very important. In this article we propose a survey of 5 open
source workflow management systems based on the analysis
of different key aspects. We propose a set of 8 key aspects
useful to evaluate the analyzed workflow management
systems. These aspects cover the most important aspects of a
workflow management systems from the design to the
implementation and monitoring of the business process.
